Trapped

The relentless clatter scourged the valleys and plains alike

Synchrony amid the catastrophe rested within four walls

Outdoors lay in eerie quiet, ungainly sight benign

Whence forth resumed the haze of succinct chords

Into the shell, against the screen, sundries prostrate

Enveloped within tech vying for insatiable spans

Resentment engorging a face beyond further assuage

Discord seeping into the heart of every clan

As dissension rolls, millions smother into their living grave

The logical plunge seems to target more trials and tribulation

Beyond the girth of the cramped space, they annihilate

The very symphony of the soul, sucked into oblivion

Perhaps pain so intense recognises in itself the purpose

Revelations trotting beyond the averaged numbed brain

Shan't no agony terminate lest growth be condensed

Half knowledge broken twice, a brimful myriad now attained

Trapped in the glass of mirrors, echoes and bare land

His cacophony too sweeps under the rug of the lore

The polished diamond now pressured to withstand

Whilst all folks veer in this journey henceforth.
